Professor Tran Thanh Van, President of the "Rencontres du Vietnam" organization expressed his hope that the scholarship would serve as a powerful encouragement, motivating the students to excel in their academic endeavors and ultimately become talented individuals who will contribute to their homeland.

The Vallet Scholarship was established by French scientist Professor Odon Vallet, who donated a significant portion of his fortune to create this fund. It provides scholarships to outstanding high school and university students facing financial difficulties in France, Germany, and Vietnam.
Over the past 25 years (1999-2024), the Vallet Scholarship Fund and the "Rencontres du Vietnam" organization have awarded more than 50,000 scholarships to outstanding students across Vietnam, with a total value of VND 500 billion. In the 2024-2025 academic year, over 2,000 students and researchers nationwide received scholarships worth more than VND 40 billion.
