During the meeting, Professor Ho Chin Kuan, Vice Chancellor and President of the University, shared information about APU’s educational activities. He noted that the university currently has more than 13,000 students from over 130 countries and territories, offering a wide range of academic disciplines, with particular strengths in information technology, cybersecurity, digital economy, and innovation.

Expressing his appreciation for the quality of higher education institutions in Vietnam, Professor Ho Chin Kuan said he hoped to strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese universities in education, research, and the development of high-quality human resources.
In discussions with Professor Ho Chin Kuan and APU’s leadership, Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh emphasized that science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and the development of highly skilled human resources are among Vietnam’s strategic priorities in the coming period.
“Amid the strong development of the Vietnam-Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, education and training cooperation is expected to become one of the key areas of collaboration,” Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh stressed.

On this occasion, Ambassador Dinh Ngoc Linh introduced Phenikaa University and Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) as potential Vietnamese partners for APU to establish cooperative relations.
The visit and working session at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation contributed to strengthening connections between educational institutions of the two countries and promoting cooperation in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. It also made a practical contribution to deepening and enhancing the substance of the Vietnam-Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
