The program was co-organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Finland and various Vietnamese associations in the country.

According to the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland, under the theme “The New Era of National Rise,” Vietnam Day 2025 presented the image of a nation rich in cultural identity, proud of its history, yet dynamic, innovative, and eager to integrate and reach further. The motifs of the Dong Son bronze drum and the Lac bird were chosen as symbols for the 2025 theme, representing Vietnam’s roots, resilience, and aspiration to soar high in the new era.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland Pham Thi Thanh Binh stated that the event helped strengthen community solidarity, promote Vietnam-Finland exchanges and cooperation, while affirming that the country’s remarkable achievements over the past 80 years have laid a solid foundation for Vietnam to confidently step into a new era.
