Vietnam Day in Venice wins participant's hearts
Vietnam Day in Venice was organized by the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association’s chapter in Veneto region on September 19th.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Renato Darsie, Head of the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association’s chapter in the Veneto region, thanked the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy for coordination with the chapter to organize various cultural events to promote the friendship between the two countries.

For his part, Vietnamese Commercial Counsellor Bui Vuong Anh praised the chapter’s efforts to organize the significant event and thanked the valuable support of the Italian people for Vietnam during its previous revolutionary struggles and current national development and construction process.
He urged the chapter to continue organizing meaningful events and thereby strengthen the bilateral relations as well as support overseas Vietnamese living, working and studying in Italy.
The program included shows of Vietnam’s traditional costumes and monochord performance, which offered Italian friends a chance to learn about Vietnam’s history and culture.
Dramas about Vietnam’s Lac Long Quan-Au Co and Ba Be lake legends in Italian language were also played at the event.
Activities of the Vietnam Day in Venice made deep impressions on participants, especially overseas Vietnamese and students in Italy./.
