Bui Thi Minh Hoai noted that Vietnam-China relations have maintained strong momentum in recent years, particularly following the successful state visit to China by General Secretary and State President To Lam and his spouse, as well as the eighth meeting between representatives of the two Politburos in April 2026. These achievements have helped foster an atmosphere of trust and friendship across ministries, sectors, and localities in both countries, generating vibrant cooperation in all fields.
Commending the outcomes of the talks between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Committee of the CPPCC, Bui Thi Minh Hoai proposed that both sides continue building on their achievements and soon sign a cooperation agreement to implement the areas discussed during the talks.
According to her, translating these cooperation initiatives into concrete actions will facilitate stronger exchanges and cooperation among VFF and CPPCC organizations at all levels, as well as their member organizations. It will also enhance public communication on the traditional solidarity and friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and China, thereby helping to strengthen relations between the two Parties and two countries in a more substantive, effective, and sustainable manner.
The VFF Central Committee President stated that Vietnam is prioritizing the development of science and technology and digital transformation, viewing them as key drivers of growth in the coming period. In this spirit, she expressed her hope that China will continue sharing its experience in innovation, railway technology development, the construction of Xiong’an New Area in Hebei Province, as well as public communication and mobilization efforts to encourage people’s participation in national development.
Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her appreciation for the assistance and support provided by the Party, State, and people of China to Vietnam during its struggles for national independence and reunification, as well as in its current process of national construction and development. She also highly valued China’s support in educating generations of Vietnamese students at Yucai School, which contributed to the formation of a core contingent of officials for the country.
