Vietnam Festival in Japan 2019 to be held in June

Embassy of Vietnam in Tokyo, Japan and Organizing Board of Vietnam Festival in Japan 2019 had a press conference about the Festival.
The Vietnam Festival in Japan was not only a great cultural event to increase the understanding between people of two countries, but also a connection of Vietnamese’s solidarity and sympathy in Japan.
At the press conference Vietnamese Ambassador in Japan, Vu Hong Nam shared that the Festival was the Vietnam’s passion to Japan and vice versa. He appreciated the efforts of Organizing Board and organizations of two countries.
He also voiced his hope that the Vietnam Festival in Japan 2019 will be successful and contributes to boost the relation of two countries’ governments and people.
On Japan’s part, the representative of Organizing Board considered this Festival grows the people relation between two countries gradually in depth.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Festival in Japan 2019 will have 120 stalls, contains 60 food kiosks, 60 stalls of handicraft productions, booths of introducing Vietnam potential tourism and investment.
The visitors will have the opportunity to taste the special dishes of Vietnam and watch the cultural, music and traditional art performances of both Vietnamese and Japan artists when coming to the Vietnam Festival 2019.
The Vietnam Festival in Japan was firstly held in 2008 in the framework of 35th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic establishment. It becomes the annual activity of two countries and the Festival of this year is the 11th edition./.
