The delegation paid courtesy calls to the President of the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance, Obuchi Yuko, and the Advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance, Takebe Tsutomu. There are also meetings with the Kansai-region Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Sakai-region Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, and the Ibaraki-Vietnam Friendship Association. Also, the delegation attended the 3rd Vietnam Business Day organized by the Vietnam Business Association in Japan.

The delegation respectfully conveyed the warm greetings of the President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association to the leaders and members of the Japanese friendship associations. The main discussion of the meetings included main aspects of the situation in Vietnam, the activities of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association and its orientation for the new stage of development between the two countries. The two sides also focused on initiatives for strengthening economic cooperation, local cooperation, and youth exchanges between the two countries.
