Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association Extends Bunpimay New Year Greetings to Lao Embassy

During the meeting, Nguyen Dac Vinh conveyed his best New Year wishes to Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh, as well as to all embassy officials, staff, and the Lao people. He emphasized that the joy of the Lao people is also the joy of the Vietnamese people. He expressed his pleasure at the achievements Laos has attained in recent years, particularly following the success of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, with the country making increasingly steady progress.
Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed that, despite ongoing global challenges, Vietnam has maintained positive socio-economic development outcomes while continuing to implement key tasks set by the Party and the State. He expressed confidence that, under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Laos will continue to achieve sustainable development, bringing increasing prosperity and happiness to its people.

Highlighting the great friendship and special solidarity between the two countries, the President of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association expressed his hope that the Lao Embassy in Vietnam would continue to pay attention to and closely coordinate with the Association, creating favorable conditions for effectively carrying out people-to-people diplomatic activities, thereby contributing to elevating bilateral relations to new heights.
In response, Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh sincerely thanked the delegation for their visit and New Year greetings on the occasion of Bunpimay. She highly appreciated the friendship and close bonds between the two countries, and affirmed that the Embassy would continue to closely coordinate with the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association in implementing activities to strengthen the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations, further deepening the special Laos-Vietnam relationship in the time ahead.
