The Vietnam-Slovakia Friendship Association on December 15 hosted a gala dinner to welcome Christmas and New Year 2025. At the get-together, participants recalled their youth memories of Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic and Slovakia today. They also had a chance to enjoy the traditional folk songs of Czechoslovakia, and typical dishes of Slovakia and Vietnam.
Marian Veres, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Slovakia in Vietnam and his spouse also were invited to the gather.
The Vietnam-Slovakia Friendship Association was established in 1997. There are about 1,400 members across the country, including former students, researchers, apprentices, workers, officials and diplomats who have studied and worked in Czechoslovakia ago and Slovakia today.
