She emphasized the strong potential for economic cooperation and reaffirmed the role of diplomatic missions in facilitating trade relations and bilateral collaboration.

Reha Denemec, Chairman of the Türkiye-Vietnam Business Council and a member of the Executive Board of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye, welcomed the participating businesses and praised the significance of the forum. He shared insights into Türkiye’s investment and business environment and outlined sectors in which enterprises from both countries could expand cooperation in the future. The Turkish side also expressed its desire to further promote trade activities, business networking, and support for concrete joint projects between the two business communities.

In her speech, Dr. Phan Bich Thien, President of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe and Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Business Culture Development, emphasized that Vietnam and Türkiye share many similarities, including dynamic business communities and rapidly growing economies that are increasingly expanding multilateral partnerships.

She pointed out that the network of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Europe possesses extensive experience with European legal frameworks and business culture, while also maintaining strong connections with enterprises in Vietnam. This network has significant potential to serve as a bridge and contribute to strengthening business relations between Vietnam and Türkiye.

Beyond bilateral cooperation, she suggested the development of multilateral projects involving Vietnam, Türkiye, and European Union member states. In such initiatives, Türkiye could leverage its strengths in areas such as logistics and construction. In addition to large-scale cooperation, Phan Bich Thien highlighted specific opportunities for collaboration and investment in the fields of cuisine and tourism.

She noted that there are currently no Vietnamese restaurants in Türkiye despite the growing popularity of Vietnamese cuisine among Turkish travelers. Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Europe could consider opening Vietnamese restaurants in Türkiye, both as a business investment and as a means of promoting Vietnamese culture in the country.

During the forum, Vietnamese and Turkish enterprises introduced their capabilities, business needs, and areas in which they hoped to cooperate. Participants agreed that the potential for cooperation between businesses from both countries remains substantial. Representatives of the Vietnam Business Association in Europe also shared their experience in connecting Vietnamese enterprises with European markets, noting that similar approaches could be applied to strengthen links with Türkiye.

The Vietnam-Türkiye Business Forum not only provided a practical platform for dialogue between the business communities of the two countries but also helped strengthen ties among business-support organizations, diplomatic missions, and overseas Vietnamese communities. Participants expressed hope that the forum would generate new ideas and cooperation opportunities, contributing to the further development of trade and investment relations between Vietnam and Türkiye in the years ahead.
