According to Nguyen Khanh Ly, Head of the Vietnam Women's Union in the Federal Republic of Germany, every year in July, expatriates always turn towards their homeland to pay tribute and express gratitude for the immense contributions of veterans and wounded soldiers in the cause of national liberation and struggle.

The Vietnam Women's Union in the Federal Republic of Germany has established a fundraising fund under the theme "Gratitude for the Source" to collectively remember their homeland on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.

At the program, representatives of the Vietnam Women's Union in the Federal Republic of Germany presented 60 gift sets to families of wounded soldiers, martyrs, and notable victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in the district. Each set includes VND 1.5 million and a gift bag, with a total value of VND 100 million.

Representatives of Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province, expressed their sincere gratitude for the generosity of the Vietnam Women's Union in the Federal Republic of Germany towards veterans and their relatives in the area.

They also expressed their wish to continue receiving the attention and support of the Vietnam Women's Union in the Federal Republic of Germany for veterans, their relatives, and those in difficult circumstances in the district in the future.

This noble activity contributes to the collective effort to provide thorough care and improve the quality of life for policy families, veterans, and the less fortunate.
