Vietnamese Film Premieres at International Film Festival of India
This milestone reflects the growing cultural exchange between Vietnam and India and promises to bring Vietnamese cinema closer to Indian audiences.

To promote Vietnamese culture and cinema on the global stage and strengthen people-to-people connections between Vietnam and India, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai showcased the Vietnamese film "Fragile Flower" at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) from November 20-28. From December 2024, the film will be screened at 70 theaters across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and North East regions. This marks the first Vietnamese film to receive a commercial release in India, available in English and Hindi languages. (Photo: Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai) |
