Some of the highlight activities are meetings between Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and the representatives of the Vietnamese community in Poland, the visit to ASG shopping center in Warsaw and the headquarters of Tan Viet Group in Gdansk city. The Vietnamese diplomat also met with Cao Hong Vinh, Member of the Ochota District Council and Chairman of the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club, Mai Hai Lam, founder of WE LOVE PHO organization. She attended the opening of the Vietnamese summer camp and led the delegation to visit Nhan Hoa Pagoda and Thien Phuc Pagoda.

The population of Vietnamese people in Poland is about 30,000 people. Among them, about 3000 have local nationality, living mainly in Warsaw (80%), the remained percentage lives scattered in other cities and localities of Poland. Vietnamese people in Poland have the economic capability and the intellectual potential that make positive contributions to the local socio-economic development. They have a spirit of solidarity, supporting, abiding by local laws, and always looking towards the homeland.
On July 5, at a meeting with the Vietnamese Association and many Vietnamese organizations in Poland, Tran Anh Tuan, President of the Vietnamese Association in Poland, noted that in recent years, the Association has always played a central role by promptly supporting the community, protecting the legitimate interests of people. He stressed that, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Association supported Vietnamese people from Ukraine to Poland, or after the big fire at Marywilska shopping center. This is not only a place to connect the community but also a symbol of solidarity, mutual affection. It has the role as the bridge between Vietnam and Poland in economic, cultural, and social events.
The Vietnamese community in Poland always preserves and promotes the national cultural identity by organizing many cultural events. In the host country, the community is hardworking, united, and responsible. They contribute to building friendly relations with the local government and people. They look towards the homeland by actively participating in humanitarian charity activities to help people in need.

Along with the Vietnamese Association, there are other reports from community organizations in Poland, such as the Vietnam Business Association, the Vietnam Women's Union, the Ochota District Council in Warsaw City, the Chairman of the Paracel-Spratly Club, and the Union of Vietnamese Women's Associations in Europe. According to the reports, there are 18 recommendations and proposals related to the development of economic-trade, tourism, culture-education relations... between the two countries, the work of the association, legal, preservation of the Vietnamese language, the overseas Vietnamese delegation visits Truong Sa and the annual Summer Camp for overseas Vietnamese youth and so on.
The Deputy Minister also visited ASG Trade Center (5/7) and Tan Viet Group (6/7). During the visit, the business community in Poland shared with the diplomatic delegation that its business model transformed after the Covid-19 pandemic and in the context of complicated developments in the world. In addition to the traditional way of doing business, the trend of opening restaurants, nail salons, online sales, and combining retail and wholesale...is thriving.

In response, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang expressed her pride to see the community develop strongly, deeply integrate into the local society, make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Poland, and connect the pace of the increasingly strong friendship between Vietnam and Poland during the past 75 years.
She believed the Vietnamese community in Poland is a united community, has a fairly complete system of organizing associations in all fields (Vietnamese associations, businesses, women, fragrant councils, Hoang Sa-Truong Sa clubs, etc.). It has made many contributions to the country, such as seminars on the South China Sea, the establishment of WE LOVE PHO... The Party and State always care and value the resources of the overseas Vietnamese community; at the same time, they provide information on the domestic situation, answering petitions and problems. With science and technology as the foundation, she hopes that the community continues to contribute to the country’s prosperity.
The adaptability of Vietnamese enterprises in Poland is highly appreciated, especially the active contribution to the development of the country in the new period, especially Resolution 57 of the Politburo on scientific and technological development and innovation, Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, through the introduction of experts, intellectuals and specific projects.
At the meeting with the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club, the Vietnamese diplomat was touched to meet 35 overseas Vietnamese who are "Chien Sy Truong Sa" and their relatives in Poland and to update them on the information and policies of Vietnam on the protection of sea and island sovereignty.
With deep appreciation for the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club in particular and the Vietnamese community in Poland in general for their practical activities to connect overseas people, contributing to affirming and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang asked the Club to continue to spread its image, love for Vietnam's sea and islands with overseas people in Poland, contributing to spreading the truth and righteousness of Vietnam to international friends.
Another highlight of the visit is attending the opening of the 10th summer camp "Fun with Vietnamese" in 2025 at Lac Long Quan Vietnamese Language School. In her remarks, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang praised the efforts of the Vietnamese community in Poland and teachers in preserving Vietnamese culture and language in recent years, including activities to respond to the annual Day for Honouring Vietnamese Language (8/9).
The initiative to organize a summer camp "Fun with Vietnamese" should be replicated in the Vietnamese community in other countries, she said. The Vietnamese diplomat not only attended the event but also donated Vietnamese language textbooks to Lac Long Quan Vietnamese Language School and awarded medals to teachers to express their gratitude for their outstanding contributions.
During the visit to the Vietnamese pagodas in Poland, the delegation recognized the merits of monks, nuns, and Buddhists. They are the caregivers of the spiritual life of the Vietnamese community in Poland, who contribute to spreading and preserving the unity and good values of Vietnamese Buddhism.
