At the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga introduced the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, an institution specialized in people-to-people diplomacy, promoting friendship, solidarity, cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and other countries, including Argentina and Latin American countries.

VUFO President Nguyen Phuong Nga expressed her hope to strengthen ties with Argentina's friendship organizations such as the Argentina-Vietnam Cultural Institute, an organization with 25 years of promoting cultural exchange with Vietnam.

Argentine Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino said Argentina highly appreciates and hopes to strengthen ties with Vietnam. In the coming time, the Ambassador affirmed that he would boost cooperation with VUFO, promote people-to-people relations between Argentina and Vietnam and encourage the establishment of bilateral friendship associations in each country.

The two sides agreed to continue promoting cooperation in the field of people-to-people diplomacy, towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Argentina (October 25, 1973 - October 25, 2023).
