The decision announced that Ba Thuoc district would receive aid totaling USD 25,000 to provide emergency relief to poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and children affected by the storm. The aid will be available until December 31, 2024.
The project will allocate VND 3,500,000 per household in the communes of Luong Trung, Luong Noi, Co Lung, Lung Cao, and Thanh Lam, enabling them to purchase food, groceries, school supplies, and other necessary items.

The “Emergency Relief for Families Affected by Storm No. 3 (Yagi) in 2024” project, implemented by WVI, focuses on supporting the most severely affected and vulnerable households, including those that are poor or disadvantaged, households with disabled children, and children in special circumstances.
In addition to multi-purpose cash transfers, WVI will provide other assistance such as hygiene kits, water tanks, minor repairs to water facilities and schools, as well as training and communication on clean water and sanitation, safety protection policies, and management of safety violations.
These efforts aim to stabilize lives, create a safe space for children to study and live normally again, and support the community in long-term recovery.
