20 New Bus Routes Rolled Out in Hanoi to Serve Socio-economic Achievements Exhibition on 80th Independence Day

Hanoi’s Traffic Management and Operation Center has launched a plan to expand bus services for residents and tourists attending the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements, held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Independence Day on September 2.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 126/CD-TTg dated August 2, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister, and the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 4493/UBND-DT dated August 8, 2025, the Hanoi City Traffic Management and Operation Center will implement a plan to increase bus routes from August 12 to September 5, 2025.

The plan aims to serve residents and tourists visiting the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and Independence Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).

Accordingly, 20 bus routes, including 2 existing routes and 18 additional ones, will be arranged with 68 buses operating approximately 850 trips per day, divided into six directions from the city center, gateways, and Noi Bai Airport.

From the city center, buses will depart from five stops: Cau Giay Transfer Point, Kim Ma–Hao Nam, Hanoi Railway Station, University of Science and Technology, and Times City Urban Area, with six routes (43, 43TC, 31TC1, 96TC, 23TC, E08TC).

In the east of the city, buses will depart from Gia Lam Bus Station and Ocean Park Urban Area, with three routes (122TC, E02TC, E10TC).

In the west, five departure points, Nhon, Yen Nghia Bus Station, My Dinh Bus Station, Smart City Urban Area, and University of Mining, will serve five routes (34TC, 32TC2, 02TC, 31TC2, E09TC).

The southern direction includes two departure points: Giap Bat Bus Station and Gamuda Urban Area, with two routes (32TC1, 24TC).

In the north, buses will depart from Bac Son (Da Hoi Village Bus Park, Trung Gia) and Pho Ni (Binh An Trade Center), with two routes (15TC, 93TC).

From Noi Bai Airport, two routes will be operated (90TC, E10).

Accordingly, passengers who wish to visit the Exhibition Center can use the 20 designated bus routes operating from 17 starting and ending points, as well as stops along the route.

These include: Kim Ma bus parking lot (routes 43, 43TC); Bach Khoa University bus parking lot (route 31); Cau Giay bus transfer point (route 96TC); Hanoi Railway Station (route 23TC); and Gamuda Urban Area (route E08).

Other departure points include Gia Lam Bus Station (route 122TC); Ocean Park Urban Area (routes E02TC, E10, E10TC); My Dinh Bus Station (route 34); Yen Nghia Bus Station (route 02TC); University of Mining and Geology (route 31TC2); Smart City Urban Area (route E09); Nhon bus transfer point (route 32TC2); Gamuda Urban Area (route 24TC); Giap Bat Bus Station (route 32TC1); Bac Son (Da Hoi, Trung Gia village bus parking lot) (route 93TC); Pho Ni (Binh An Commercial Center) (route 15TC); and Noi Bai Airport (routes 90, E10).

The plan is implemented from August 12 to September 5, 2025. During the first phase, from August 12 to 27, six routes will be operated, including 43TC, E10TC, 122TC, 96TC, 32TC1, and 34TC. From August 28 to September 5, the number will increase to twelve, including: 23TC, 31TC1, 31TC2, E08TC, E02TC, 32TC2, 02TC, E09TC, 24TC, 15TC, 93TC, and 90TC.

All vehicles will display a sign reading “Bus serving the Vietnam Exhibition Center” in a visible location. Buses will pick up and drop off passengers at terminals and designated stops along the route. Ticket prices will follow the system's current single-trip and monthly fare policies.
