“A80 – Proud of Vietnam” is an official information channel designed for public communication, integrating multiple digital utilities to connect and support citizens as well as international friends during the nation’s major commemorative events.

Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, said that as the focal point for organizing major commemorative activities, Hanoi has made thorough and creative preparations for the nation’s milestone events. The department has developed a digital ecosystem called “A80 – Proud of Vietnam.”

It is not only an online information portal, but also a “smart assistant” - a companion for residents and visitors alike in discovering, experiencing, and fully embracing every moment of the capital’s commemorative events.

“A80 – Proud of Vietnam” has been developed as a centralized, unified, and reliable digital information hub, providing timely, comprehensive, and accurate updates on all content related to the celebrations.

Through this platform, domestic citizens, overseas Vietnamese, and international friends can easily access official information on parade and march schedules, art performances, cultural and historical exhibitions; announcements on event timings, traffic management, security, and medical services from relevant authorities; as well as behind-the-scenes updates, striking images, live broadcast videos, and memorable moments shared by communities across the country.

The interface of the website “A80 - Proud of Vietnam” is designed with a joyful, modern, festive spirit, imbued with the cultural identity of Thang Long-Hanoi. The main colors of bright red and yellow create a solemn yet intimate, lively, and inspiring atmosphere.

Prominently displayed on the homepage are images of President Ho Chi Minh reading the “Declaration of Independence” and marching parade formations, embodying the sacred spirit of history.

The categories are arranged coherently, intuitively, and easily, from event lists, image-video libraries to digital maps for real-time event lookup.

The website also integrates social media connectivity, creating a space to spread patriotic sentiments and foster community bonds. The thousand-year-old cultural identity of Thang Long–Hanoi is vividly brought to life through images of iconic landmarks, traditional art performances, and emotionally rich design elements.

Therefore, “A80 – Proud of Vietnam” is not only a platform serving a historic national event, but also a digital cultural product that reflects the spirit and identity of the capital in the new era.

The platform integrates advanced features such as an AI-powered chatbot acting as a “virtual assistant,” providing event guidance, directions, and real-time calendar reminders for participation.

The interactive digital map provides updates on event venues, live-stream LED screens, water stations, medical posts, rest areas, dining spots, as well as traffic alerts and route guidance.

All these features help ensure safe travel, enable people to plan proactively, and enhance the overall user experience. The platform also serves as a space to spread national pride.

“A80 - Pride of Vietnam” is not only a technology platform serving the national celebration, but also a digital cultural declaration of the capital Hanoi - a place where the glorious past, creative present, and integrated future converge.

From the historic milestone of 1945 to the transformative strides of the digital era, Hanoi continues to affirm its position as the nation’s political, cultural, and creative hub - a thousand-year-old city dedicated to peace and prosperity.

It stands as a bridge linking past and present, government and people, Vietnam and friends from around the world, composing a vibrant symphony that bears the name Vietnam.

As a member of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network, Hanoi continues to lead the way in applying technology and fostering innovation in organizing nationally significant cultural events.

The A80 platform is not only a solution for digitizing information, but also a creative product that blends culture and technology, contributing to the vision of building a cultured, creative, modern, and globally integrated capital.
