Bac Ninh's Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association Cooperates with Vietnamese Association of Kansai

A programme entitled “Meet Bac Ninh – Japan” was organized in the northern province of Bac Ninh on November 17, on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties. On that basis, Bac Ninh province has mobilized and completed the requirements, processes, and procedures to establish its Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association. Accordingly, the interim executive board of the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of Bac Ninh province includes 18 delegates, led by Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of Bac Ninh province is a voluntary social organization aiming to consolidate, strengthen, and expand friendly cooperation and mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and Japan in general, Bac Ninh province and Japan in particular.

The association has the task of propagandizing and introducing to the Japanese people the country and people of Bac Ninh in particular and the Vietnamese people in general to enhance mutual understanding between the people of the two countries; acting as a bridge to mobilize and promote exchange activities in various fields.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Vietnamese Association in the Kansai region and the provincial Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association is inked.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of Bac Ninh province and the Vietnamese Association of Kansai region signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Accordingly, the two sides agreed and decided to cooperate and organize activities such as establishing a training and career support center for youth in Bac Ninh province; and connecting with the Bac Ninh Expats Association in Japan to support and care for overseas Vietnamese living far from home; searching for domestic and foreign partners who need to use local human resources; building a high-quality Japanese language training environment, and creating accurate information channels as well as cultural and educational exchange activities between Bac Ninh province and Japanese partners.
