On July 27, Lung Cu Commune People's Committee in Tuyen Quang held the “Cham Lung Cu” check-in site launch ceremony, contributing to the diversification of local tourism products and strengthening the attractiveness of the far northern region.

The “Cham Lung Cu” check-in site is developed with the features of an open design that blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural landscape for visitors to explore, enjoy local experiences and capture memorable moments during their trip to Lung Cu.

The site is expected to encourage tourists to stay longer and spend more, while also creating additional livelihoods for local residents through tourism services and community-based tourism activities.

Secretary of the Lung Cu Commune Party Committee Duong Ngoc Duc said the launch of “Cham Lung Cu” marked the next step in the locality’s roadmap to build a distinctive tourism product ecosystem.

The commune has identified tourism as a breakthrough sector for green and sustainable socio-economic development, with cultural and landscape conservation serving as its foundation; while mobilising social resources to create new tourism experiences, enhancing the competitiveness of the destination.

Alongside promoting the value of the Lung Cu National Flag Tower, the northernmost point, Lo Lo Chai community-based cultural tourism village and Ma Le cultural village, the locality has developed a range of experiences, including horse riding, community cultural spaces and activities introducing visitors to the daily life and traditions of local ethnic communities.

Tourism infrastructure has also gradually improved, with 15 restaurants and more than 80 accommodation establishments, including homestays, guesthouses and bungalows, as well as various tourism experience and transport services.

In the first six months of 2026, Lung Cu welcomed nearly 330,000 visitors, including more than 80,800 international arrivals, generating tourism revenue of over 200 billion VND.

These results further demonstrate that tourism is becoming an important driver of local socio-economic development, creating jobs, improving residents’ incomes and helping establish Lung Cu as a green, welcoming and culturally distinctive destination.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, delegates and large numbers of visitors toured the new site, took part in activities and posed for commemorative photographs.

The launch of “Cham Lung Cu” not only enriches the commune’s range of tourism products but also contributes to completing the tourism ecosystem of Vietnam’s northernmost region, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of domestic and international visitors.
