Chairman of India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), Founder, Chairman of Expo Bazaar; The Director General of the Indian Council for the Promotion of Export of Handicrafts (EPCH) Rakesh Kumar, expressed his impression of the scale and significance of the first Autumn Fair 2025. He emphasized that for India, this is a particularly important opportunity to expand trade cooperation and cultural exchanges with Vietnam.
According to Rakesh Kumar, under the coordination of India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML) and Expo Bazaar, India brings one of the largest international business delegations to the fair. Indian businesses will not only introduce products, but also look for potential suppliers from Vietnam for the three key markets of the United States, Europe and India.
He affirmed that Vietnam is emerging as a reliable, innovative and highly competitive supply destination, especially in the fields of handicrafts, interior decoration, textiles, household goods, food and sustainable products. Indian businesses want to integrate Vietnamese suppliers with stable capabilities, unique designs, and understanding of international consumption trends into the global supply chain.
With a population of more than 1.45 billion people and a young and dynamic domestic market, India is considered a potential destination for Vietnamese products. Thanks to an extensive distribution and display network, the Indian business system can support Vietnamese goods to directly reach consumers, thereby expanding the Vietnamese brand imprint in the South Asian market.
"When the business communities of our two countries connect, we not only exchange goods but also creatives, stories and cultural identities. Given the special scale of the event, I am confident that the First Autumn Fair in 2025 will open a new chapter in Vietnam-India trade relations. The event is also where Indian businesses will find in Vietnam a dynamic, reliable and strategic partner," said Rakesh Kumar.
