Accordingly, the bus stations must actively guide transport units, garages, and passengers to strictly comply with the direction of the National Committee and Hanoi city on Covid-19 pandemic prevention; strictly adhere to the regulation of conducting medical declaration through the smartphone application of Bluezone.

In particular, it is necessary to store full passenger information provided by the transport units for at least 21 days for the purpose of passenger tracking. Moreover, transport units are asked to absolutely refuse guests coming from localities with complicated COVID-19 developments.

Hanoi's Department of Transport directs the transport business units to strengthen the inspection of technical conditions of their vehicles, detect and repair them in time to ensure safety for passengers in standard traffic, ready to respond in case of a pandemic outbreak. The department calls for high precaution, avoiding all kinds of subjectiveness.

At the same time, the Department asks transport businesses to take measures to ensure health for drivers, bus assistants, and garage staff such as prepare them masks and hand sanitizers according to the guidance of the health sector. For better safety, the cars should be regularly washed, especially surfaces of frequent contact such as door handles, seats. Disinfectants spraying are also advised to ensure vehicle hygiene.

The Hanoi Department of Transport also requests the Hanoi Traffic Inspector to continue to arrange forces at posts around the bus station areas to guide traffic flow, ensuring traffic order and safety; coordinate with the health sector and police forces to inspect, monitor and strictly handle violations in the implementation of COVID-19 preventive measures as prescribed.
