Improving Neonatal Care in Tay Giang District, Quang Nam Province
With a total value of nearly 130 million VND, the new medical equipment donated by the Mérieux Foundation and VinaCapital Foundation’s Survive to Thrive program will equip the Tay Giang District Medical Center with the necessary tools to effectively diagnose and treat approximately 1,000 newborns and premature babies each year in the region.

| On September 18, 2024, Mérieux Foundation and VinaCapital Foundation donated 16 essential neonatal medical equipment, including 10 fetal dopplers and 6 SPO2 monitors, to Tay Giang District Medical Center located in Tay Giang district, Quang Nam Province. Due to the challenging terrain and economic hardships in Tay Giang, residents often encounter difficulties in accessing quality healthcare services. The essential neonatal care equipment in this region has deteriorated over time and is inadequate to meet the growing demand for medical attention. |
