On January 27 in Hanoi, Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security held a New Year meeting with ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, and representatives of international organizations on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Bính Ngọ 2026. General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, delivered a message outlining orientations for international security cooperation, emphasizing Vietnam’s commitment to standing alongside the international community for peace, stability, and common security.

International scholars and experts have assessed that the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam firmly reaffirmed political stability, clarified a long-term, people-centered development vision, and strengthened the international community’s confidence in Vietnam’s prospects for growth, reform, and proactive integration in the new period.

In an article written on this occasion, the Party chief recalled President Ho Chi Minh’s call to action, “Forward! Total victory will be ours!” and emphasised that today the late President’s appeal still surges with momentum, “spurring us to strengthen our resolve, overcome poverty and backwardness, and build a prosperous and happy country.”

As the entire country looks toward the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese community in Thailand has expressed deep interest and strong confidence in the nation’s strategic orientations, while reaffirming its desire to continue making active contributions to national construction and development in the new period.
