The Japan Foundation and the Inoue Yasushi Memorial Foundation jointly held the sixth Inoue Yasushi Award - Japanese Literature Research Thesis Contest. The deadline for entry submission was in September.
The Inoue Yasushi Memorial Foundation was established in 1992 to commemorate the late Japanese novelist Inoue Yasushi.
Its main activities include the Inoue Yasushi Award for individuals or organizations that contribute to the development and promotion of Japanese culture, conducting document collection and in-depth research on Japanese literature, and organizing teaching seminars on modern Japanese literature.
