The signing ceremony was attended by Ko Tae-Yeon, Chairman of KOCHAM; Park Seo Yun, Executive Director of KOCHAM; and Cho Eun Seung, Country Director of Good Neighbors International in Vietnam.
The MOU was signed on the basis of long-term trust and cooperation, with the goal of spreading a culture of sharing, expanding corporate participation in social activities, and creating positive and sustainable values for the community.

Under the agreement, KOCHAM and GNI will coordinate the implementation of CSR activities for RoK enterprises in Vietnam, carry out scholarship programs and support disadvantaged children under GNI’s sponsorship programs, while also expanding opportunities for corporate employees to participate in volunteer activities.
Within the framework of the partnership, KOCHAM will support the promotion of GNI’s CSR programs to its member business community and foster suitable cooperation opportunities. On the GNI side, the organization will develop and implement community programs, scholarship initiatives, and volunteer activities, while also providing the necessary information and content to support businesses in effectively participating in social initiatives.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of KOCHAM emphasized that the value of a business should not only be measured by its business performance, but also by its practical contributions to the community and local society. The representative also expressed hope for a strong and fruitful partnership between GNI and KOCHAM in the coming time.
Cho Eun Seung, Country Director of GNI, also expressed sincere appreciation for KOCHAM’s spirit of sharing and for the trust KOCHAM has placed in GNI. Cho further emphasized GNI’s commitment to accompanying KOCHAM in the future.
The cooperation between KOCHAM - the representative organization of the RoK business community in Vietnam - and GNI - an international non-governmental organization with many years of community-focused activities worldwide - is expected to contribute to building a sustainable cooperation network and promoting the spirit of corporate social responsibility within the business community.

Through this cooperation agreement, KOCHAM and GNI expect to jointly spread humanitarian values, strengthen ties between businesses and communities, and make positive contributions to sustainable development in Vietnam.
| Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is an international non-governmental organization from the RoK that has been operating in the fields of humanitarian assistance and community development since 2005, focusing on children’s rights, education, clean water, livelihoods, and child protection. Over nearly 20 years of operation in Vietnam, GNI has implemented numerous child rights awareness programs with the participation of more than 164,000 people, while also supporting over 350,000 people in 26 localities through emergency relief and humanitarian aid activities worth a total of USD 24.6 million. Through its community programs, GNI has contributed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Vietnam, including poverty reduction, quality education, gender equality, clean water access, sustainable livelihoods, and climate change response. |
