Activities promoting peace, solidarity, friendship, and people-to-people cooperation were carried out in an organized manner with diverse formats.
The achievements in people-to-people diplomacy over the past term, together with Party diplomacy and state diplomacy of the province, have made important contributions to the implementation of the Party and State’s policy of increasingly deep international integration, while also promoting the image of Gia Lai’s land and people to international friends.

The provincial Union should strengthen innovation in thinking, content, and methods of operation in the new context; proactively seek partners and expand areas and fields of cooperation. People-to-people diplomatic activities must closely follow Gia Lai’s development goals, particularly in mobilizing non-governmental aid and promoting cooperation in economics, culture, science, and technology.
At the same time, attention should continue to be paid to mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid. The Union should maintain close ties with foreign non-governmental organizations and coordinate closely with relevant departments and sectors to promptly address administrative procedure difficulties, creating favorable conditions for organizations to operate effectively in the province. It should also develop a program to mobilize foreign non-governmental aid for the coming period.
The provincial Union should also enhance and improve the quality and effectiveness of external information work, improve the organizational structure, and build a team of capable and qualified staff to meet task requirements.
Nguyen Ngoc Hung emphasized that the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations will continue to accompany, guide, and support the provincial Union, especially in expanding partnerships and providing capacity-building training for officials engaged in people-to-people diplomacy.
He also expressed his hope that the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province will continue to pay attention to and create favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, policies, and human resources so that the provincial Union can successfully fulfill its tasks.
On this occasion, one individual was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations for significant contributions to people-to-people diplomacy in the 2020-2025 period; one collective and one individual received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee for their positive contributions to people-to-people diplomacy in the 2020-2025 period.
