In recent years, communication on the country's sovereignty over sea and islands has been carried out synchronously and effectively in many aspects.

Since 2012, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs has coordinated with the Navy to organize many overseas Vietnamese delegations to visit Truong Sa (Spratly) island district and the DK1 rig.

This is to meet the wishes of people to enjoy the beautiful nature and potential of Vietnam's sea and islands. They witnessed with their own eyes the development of the country, and were determined to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

After each trip, the overseas Vietnamese, when returning to the country where they live, contribute to spreading the love of the sea and islands in the Vietnamese community.

Vietnam is a maritime nation. For thousands of years, the sea has provided resources for Vietnamese people. The sea and islands are sacred national boundaries that generations have sacrificed their blood to protect.

Love for the motherland is associated with the protection of national sovereignty, including the sea and islands. The establishment of Hoang Sa-Truong Sa clubs in many countries affirms the love of the country of overseas Vietnamese. It also enhances the strength of national unity, informs generations of overseas Vietnamese about Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands.

During the launch of the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club in the Czech Republic, on April 21 in Prague, Nguyen Ngoc Binh, the Club's Chairman, said:

“I am honored to represent the Vietnamese community and associations in the Czech Republic to visit Truong Sa. Having witnessed with my own eyes the life of the people and soldiers on the island, I felt moved. That's why when we returned to the mainland, we established the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club to call for support to contribute to preserving the homeland's sea and islands, and to disseminate knowledge about the sea and islands to the people."

Ambassador Thai Xuan Dung said: “The Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic always works closely with the Vietnamese Association. The Embassy provides information related to sea and islands, helping people understand the situation and policies of Vietnam in protecting sovereignty over sea and islands. The Embassy will accompany the Association of Vietnamese in the Czech Republic and the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club to do better communication work, contributing to connecting overseas Vietnamese with the sea and islands of the homeland."

Nguyen Duy Nhien, chairman of the Vietnamese Association in the Czech Republic, said that the Vietnamese community in Czech always looks towards the homeland in all activities.

The club is an organization that embodies the spirit of the Vietnamese community, of each person living far away from the country, towards the homeland and the sacred sea and islands.

Cao Hong Vinh, head of the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Club in Poland, said: “It is necessary to establish Truong Sa clubs in European countries. It helps to spread love for the homeland, sea and islands, and shows the sovereignty of the Vietnamese Fatherland. When visiting Truong Sa (Spratly), people feel pride and feel appreciative of what we have.”

The Hoang Sa-Truong Sa clubs of overseas Vietnamese will be an information channel for the 2nd and 3rd generations, helping them to understand and love Vietnam's seas and islands more. It also spreads the love of the country to international friends.

The establishment of Hoang Sa-Truong Sa clubs in many countries affirms the love of the country of overseas Vietnamese. It connects their hearts with the homeland as well as enhancing the strength of national unity.
