Polish Children Enjoy Vietnamese Folk Games Festival
From March 27-31, the Association of Vietnamese Parents and Students in Ochota District (Warszawa City, Poland) held a Vietnamese Culture Week with the theme "Vietnamese Folk Game Festival," allowing foreign children to better understand unique, Viet customs.
The program is sponsored by the Ochota District Committee and Department of Education, with the coordination of schools 152, 264 and 175 in the district. Accordingly, the festival took place in the afternoon from March 29-31 in each school.

According to the Organizing Committee, the purpose of this event is to introduce customs, costumes, cuisine and Vietnamese folk games to Vietnamese and Polish students and international friends. Folk games are played by students during their break time, creating a useful playground for students.
Through these folk games, students also understand better about the country and people of Vietnam, building relationships and connections between Vietnamese students and parents with schools, teachers, friends in Poland and other countries.
It also creates an opportunity for Vietnamese students to feel proud of their nationality, be confident and assert the position of Vietnamese community in Polish society.

Amid the nationwide celebrations welcoming the Year of the Horse (Binh Ngo) Spring 2026 and marking the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnamese communities in many countries, including Malaysia, Laos, China, and New Zealand, have organized Homeland Spring and Vietnamese Tet programs featuring a wide range of culturally rich activities. These events have contributed to strengthening bonds within overseas Vietnamese communities, spreading sentiments toward the Homeland, and enhancing people-to-people exchanges.
From February 5-6, an estimated 1,000 overseas Vietnamese delegates are expected to take part in a meaningful series of connectivity programs on the occasion of Tet and the arrival of Spring in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

As the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam soon approaches, Vietnamese representative agencies abroad have taken a proactive stance, via a diverse array of initiatives, including seminars, press briefings, and high-level exchanges with political parties and international researchers, to inform the strategic significance and far-reaching scope of the Congress to the global community.

On January 11 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held a meeting with Heads of Vietnam’s overseas representative missions appointed in 2025. At the meeting, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, emphasized the bridge-building role of Vietnam’s overseas representative missions in strengthening coordination between security and foreign affairs, with a view to ensuring national security, safety, and interests in the new situation.
