The Vietnamese delegation conducted a series of working sessions during the week-long visit. According to VNA, they held meetings with the United Arab Emirates University, the Khalifa University of Science and Technology, the TRENDS Research and Advisory, the Museum of the Future.

They also visited several sci-tech organizations under the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. Welcoming the delegation are the counterparts from the UAE side. The hosts proposed several initiatives to increase information sharing, and hold joint seminars, and scientific activities between the two countries.

Economic cooperation between Vietnam and the UAE is flourishing, with two-way trade estimated at nearly US $4 billion in the first seven months of this year, marking a 47% annual increase. Both sides are determined to elevate their bilateral relations and swiftly conclude negotiations to sign the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Towards the negotiation conclusion, Vietnam and the UAE are committed to further promoting comprehensive cooperation across economy, trade, investment, innovation, renewable energy, logistics, technology, tourism, and agriculture.
