National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue Visits Coffee Farm in Son La
On the morning of October 21, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the National Assembly's working group visited the coffee growing area in Hua La commune, Son La city, and the inauguration ceremony of Son La Coffee Processing Factory.

The event is part of the first Son La Coffee Festival themed "Arabica, Son La caphe- Taste of the Northwest mountains and forests."
Speaking at the ceremony, Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Son La Party Committee said that to implement the policy of sustainable coffee development, the People's Committee of Son La and Son La Coffee Processing Joint Stock Company held the inauguration for Son La Coffee Factory in Mai Son district, Son La province.
This project is consistent with the province's socio-economic development orientation and priority areas to attract investment in the 2020-2025 period. Son La Coffee Factory was constructed from July to October 2023 with a total investment of VND 260 billion.
Son La Coffee Processing Factory has a capacity of 12,500 tons of green coffee per year. It is expected to stabilize output for coffee-growing households, linking production, processing, consumption, and export in Son La and the Northwest region, creating more jobs for local workers.
