“Change Makers” was more than just a contest - it served as an innovative model for community development. The project encouraged local residents to identify social issues in their areas and propose practical solutions, which in turn gave rise to highly applicable community initiatives.
The contest attracted more than 50 entries from 31 communes across Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, and Tuyen Quang provinces. These submissions reflected deep community concern for issues such as the environment, education, infrastructure, and daily life. Six outstanding initiatives were selected and funded for real-world implementation, bringing about tangible and meaningful changes in their communities.
