Tet get-together held for Vietnamese expats in Saudi Arabia

On April 25, Nguyen Trung Kien, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, led a delegation of 60 distinguished overseas Vietnamese from 20 countries and territories worldwide to offer incense in commemoration of the Hung Kings at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site and to hold a working session with Phu Tho Province.

Following the strong earthquake that struck off the coast of the Sanriku region on the afternoon of April 20, causing widespread tremors and triggering tsunami warnings across several northeastern coastal prefectures of Japan, the Vietnamese community in the affected areas has been confirmed safe.

On April 19, at Ewha Womans University, the Vietnamese Students’ Association in the Republic of Korea organized the “Student recruitment day - Job Fair 2026,” attracting nearly 500 Vietnamese students studying and working in the country.

The Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea, in coordination with the Global Vietnamese Ancestral Day Project (VAG), recently held a solemn ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings, an occasion of profound spiritual significance for the Vietnamese people.
