Herbal tea, not like true teas, is not made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. The main ingredients of herbal tea include leaves, flowers, barks and roots of the different kind of trees. After being dried, these ingredients will be used to make a special kind of tea, or are combined together to creat extraordrinary flavour.

The exact origin of herbal tea is not fully known. However, scientists said it first appeared in ancient civilizations. It was used to improve physical health, easing stress, and helped cure some illness.

Camellia sinesis, the tea plant, has been grown for around 2,100 years. The plant is a member of the family Theaceae, its origins dating back to China and Southeast Asia. The habitual consumption of tea grew in Asia, and eventually European explorers brought it to Europe in the 17th century when it became a cultural staple

Over time, herbal tea becomes one of the favourite beverages and are used for its delicious and unique organic flavours.
