Traditional Ao Dai Gifted for Vietnamese Women in Kansai
This is the first activity held in the Kansai region for officials and spouses of members of diplomatic mission to meet and interact with the Association of Vietnamese Women. The activity aims to further enhance understanding and connection; thereby improving the effectiveness of coordination between Vietnamese Associations and the Consulate General.

Speaking at the event, Consul General Ngo Trinh Ha expressed his desire and belief that Vietnamese women in Japan in general and in Osaka in particular are always united, actively studying and working, thereby contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland and promoting the ever-growing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
Ha affirmed that the Consulate General is the common home of the community, stay connected to compatriots, and join hands to make the Vietnamese community in Japan grow stronger and contribute more to the homeland.
President of the Vietnamese Association of Kansai region Le Thuong said: “Joining the atmosphere of celebrating International Women's Day around the world, Vietnamese women in Osaka gathered and shared love, together building solidarity in the community. Delegates attending the celebration reviewed the qualities of Vietnamese women from past to present”.

On this occasion, Consul General Ngo Trinh Ha, his spouse and President of Vietnamese Association Le Thuong presented 50 sets of Ao Dai to women participating in the event.
Touched when she first attended the March 8th celebration program in Japan and received a practical gift, Ngo Thi Dan shared: "Ao Dai is a precious gift that the Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka and the Vietnamese Association give to women living abroad on this meaningful day. Seeing the Ao Dai, I feel like I can see my homeland, feeling happy as if I were at home”.
