He recalled the contributions of DAVIFO in promoting understanding and cooperation between Denmark and Vietnam over the past nearly 50 years. He also took the occasion to brief his host on a number of DAVIFO projects in Vietnam, including community health projects in rural, remote and isolated areas, supporting vulnerable groups, especially women and children, among others.
DAVIFO's goal in the coming time is to continue to effectively implement and expand the scale of community health projects in Vietnam, promoting educational cooperation and exchange activities, organizing programmes featuring Vietnamese culture and cuisine in Denmark, he pledged.
Ambassador Nguyen Le Thanh welcomed and highly appreciated DAVIFO's activities, especially community support projects, enhancing understanding and connecting the people of the two countries.
The diplomat affirmed that the embassy will always accompany DAVIFO in these meaningful activities, jointly organize activities to promote people-to-people exchange, cultural and educational exchanges, enhance friendship and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, especially in 2026 on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark (1971-2026), and the 50th anniversary of DAVIFO's establishment.
