The Vietnam People's Army delegation participating in the Army Games 2021 has had 13 of its 17 teams officially competing as of August 25. Teams such as Tactical Gunners, the Navy, Field Kitchen, and Engineer have had good results.

Specifically, on Aug. 25, at the Tyumen training ground, Russia, the Vietnam People's Army Engineers team had an excellent competition in the qualifying round of the "Safe route" contest.

The Vietnamese Engineer team competed in the second round, along with teams from Egypt, India and Venezuela.

Completing the test in 51 minutes and 40 seconds, the Vietnam Engineer team finished first in the second round, guaranteeing a place in the final competition, which is scheduled to take place on the morning of Aug. 29.

Vietnam People's Navy ranks high in shooting

After the competition of shooting targets at sea with cannons and machine guns on Aug. 24), the organizers of the "Sea Cup" event announced the team rankings after the first day of competition.

The Vietnam People's Navy team took the lead in the AK-176 naval gun shooting competition, completing the test and finishing early; the Russian navy ranked second; and the Chinese navy ranked last.

In the 14.5 millimeter machine gun test with a floating mine target, the Russian team ranked first, Vietnam second, and China third. Thus, after the first contest, the Vietnamese navy is temporarily standing second in the "Sea Cup," held in Russia.

Vietnam Chemistry Team achieves good results

On August 25, at Korla Gymnasium in Xinjiang, China, the Vietnam People's Army Chemistry Team entered the Army Games "Safe environment" contest.

The number 1 crew of the Vietnam People's Army Chemistry Team competed in the second round with the Chinese Team. The second crew competed in the fourth round with Team Belarus.

The athletes of the Vietnam People's Army Chemistry Team did their best, ending the competition with good results.

During crossing obstacles of NBC reconnaissance vehicles and overcoming personal obstacles, members of the team all completed their tasks and were less likely to get caught by the on-site referee.

On Aug. 29, the Vietnam People's Army Chemistry Team will enter the second day of competition with a shooting competition.

In the single dance competition, the Vietnam People's Army Culture-Arts team tied with China in fourth place, behind Russia, Uzbekistan and Armenia.

In the traditional musical instrument duet competition, with 26 entries, the Vietnamese team also faced fierce competition from other countries.
