According to a VNA correspondent in Thailand, at the meeting, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung congratulated Dr. Khanisara on her election as President of Udon Thani Rajabhat University for the new term, and also extended congratulations to Dr. Charoon Thawornchak on being elected Chairman of the University Council.
In her remarks, Dr. Khanisara emphasized that promoting cooperation with Vietnamese partners has always been among the university’s top priorities. This stems from the local context, as the area hosts the largest Vietnamese-origin community in Thailand, as well as increasingly dynamic people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. The Vietnam Studies Center under the Faculty of International Studies serves as an important bridge to enhance mutual understanding, promote academic exchange, facilitate faculty and student mobility, and implement joint research programs. The university is committed to continuing to create favorable conditions to expand comprehensive cooperation with education and training institutions in Vietnam, contributing to improving human resource quality and supporting international integration.
