Photographer Le Dinh Hoang shared that contributing to the promotion of Hue’s beauty through his work is both a joy and a responsibility as a native of the former imperial capital. He expressed his desire to offer the public perspectives of Hue that are both familiar and fresh: not only ancient and contemplative, but also youthful, vibrant, and constantly renewing itself.

Speaking at the exhibition’s opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong affirmed that the Vietnam International Photography Festival is a significant artistic event, contributing to the establishment of a national brand for Vietnamese photography and promoting the country and its people to international friends. At the same time, the event enriches the photographic collection on Hue, serving the city’s cultural and tourism promotion efforts.

Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized that the exhibition not only offers profound artistic value but also serves as a bridge for cultural exchange, a source of creative inspiration, and a means of strengthening friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and international partners. According to him, with its rich cultural traditions, hospitality, and aspiration for development, Hue is always ready to open its doors to welcome artists and visitors from home and abroad to create, exchange, and connect with the ancient capital.
