The inspections will focus on state management of travel services, tour guides, tourist sites, and tourism accommodation; the issuance, renewal, and revocation of travel business licenses and tour guide cards; appraisal and recognition procedures for tourist sites and accommodation establishments; inspection, supervision, and handling of violations in the tourism sector; prevention and monitoring of illegal activities related to travel and accommodation services; knowledge updates for tour guides; advertising and display of accommodation ratings; and tourism statistics.

For tourist areas, tourist attractions, and tour guides, inspections will concentrate on maintaining conditions required for official recognition, management of tour guiding activities, ensuring tourist safety, and compliance with legal regulations during professional practice.

Educational institutions organizing examinations and issuing certificates in tour guiding and tour operation will be inspected for compliance with legal regulations related to training, examination organization, and certification issuance.

Tourism accommodation establishments will be inspected on the maintenance of star-rating standards, upkeep and maintenance of technical facilities, workforce quality, security and order, fire prevention and fighting measures, and environmental sanitation.

The inspection activities aim to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of state management while raising awareness and responsibility among authorities, businesses, organizations, and individuals operating in the tourism sector regarding compliance with legal regulations and maintaining service quality standards to support rapid, comprehensive, and sustainable tourism development. The inspections will also help promptly prevent, detect, stop, and handle violations.

Through these efforts, the Authority seeks to create clear improvements in professionalism, service quality, environmental hygiene, and the establishment of a healthy and civilized tourism business environment. It also aims to enhance the friendly and professional conduct of tourism workers toward visitors and further accelerate tourism development toward the goal of becoming a spearhead economic sector in the new era.
