The annual event is organized by the United Nations Delegates’ Spouses Club to promote cultural exchange and raise funds for the UN’s humanitarian and development programs.

At this year’s event, the Vietnamese delegation presented two distinctive exhibition areas: the “Vietnamese Handicrafts” booth and the “Vietnamese Kitchen” section, vividly showcasing the country’s traditional culture and rich culinary heritage. Handicrafts, souvenirs, traditional attire, and a variety of popular Vietnamese dishes attracted large numbers of visitors, diplomats, and international officials.

Among them, the “Vietnamese Kitchen” remained a major highlight, featuring signature Vietnamese food and beverages such as banh mi, fresh spring rolls, grilled pork skewers, lemon tea, and Vietnamese iced milk coffee. Many visitors praised the balance of flavors, the refined preparation methods, and the cultural depth reflected in each dish.

According to the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, the Vietnamese booths were honored to welcome numerous ambassadors, UN officials, and international guests who came to interact, experience, and enjoy products prepared and served by staff members and their spouses from the Vietnamese representative offices.

Beyond promoting the image of Vietnam, its culture, and its people, the Vietnamese booths once again ranked among the top contributors to the charity fund established by the event organizers. This achievement reflects the growing appeal of Vietnamese culture and cuisine in multilateral international exchange activities.

The success of Vietnam’s participation at the 2026 UN International Bazaar further underscores the role of cultural diplomacy in promoting the country’s image abroad, while demonstrating Vietnam’s proactive spirit, sense of responsibility, and positive contributions to activities of the international community.
