Vietnamese Students Win 54 Medals at World Scholar's Cup 2023
According to an announcement from the organizing committee, Vietnamese students studying at Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) have earned 54 medals at the final round.

| After 13 years of operation, the World Scholar's Cup is regarded as one of the major international academic competitions for students aged 8 to 18 from all over the world. |
The World Scholar's Cup (WSC) was established in 2006 and is one of the largest international competitions held each year to inspire learners of all backgrounds to discover and unleash their potential, as well as to enhance their skills.
It attracts competitors from more than 50 countries around the world and is attended by more than 3,000 students each year.
The contest is for students of specific ages including Primary from 8 to 11 years old, Junior from 12 to 14 years old, and Senior from 15 to 18 years old. Scholars participate in regional rounds to qualify for the global rounds, and exceptional scholars at the global rounds are invited to the Tournament of Champions.
In particular, the annual world finals held at Yale University are the biggest highlight of the competition. Participating in the final round is a source of pride for global scholars who have won previous rounds.
This year, VAS had 19 students participating in the world finals competing in four competitions - Team debate, Collaborative writing, Scholar's challenge, and Scholar's bowl. The test content includes knowledge in six subjects consisting of art & music, social studies, history, literature & media, science & technology, and special areas.

With many challenges in terms of skills, knowledge, and teamwork, the contest requires participants to not only demonstrate their linguistic and academic abilities but also their knowledge in all areas of society. Participating in the contest, students have the opportunity to interact, interact, and exchange culture with international friends, while promoting the cultural beauty of Vietnam.
As a result, Vietnamese students won 25 gold medals and 29 silver medals at the WSC 2023 Tournament of Champions.
It is an incredible achievement for the students to represent their schools and country on an international platform. They had the opportunity to interact with and learn directly from Yale students and faculty during the Tournament of Champions.
