According to the VFFCC, at the handover ceremony, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung stated that in response to the appeal from the Presidium of the VFFCC, on October 3 the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a campaign calling on all officials and staff members of the Ministry, along with the Vietnamese community abroad, to join hands in assisting people in the provinces hit hard by Storm No. 10.
As of October 13, 2025, the total amount collected had reached over VND 12 billion and more than USD 5,000, most of which had been transferred to the bank account of the Central Relief Committee under the VFFCC.

According to Le Hoai Trung, many overseas Vietnamese communities in countries such as Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Laos, and Cambodia raised billions of Vietnamese dong. Despite their own difficulties, Vietnamese communities in countries like Cuba (VND 154 million), Mongolia (VND 181 million), and Belarus (VND 19 million) also actively participated. Fundraising activities took diverse forms, including charity concerts, donation drives at shopping centers, and direct bank transfers to Vietnam. Currently, Vietnamese representative missions and communities in various countries continue to raise funds to be sent to the Central Relief Committee in the coming period.
Do Van Chien expressed his gratitude and high appreciation for the solidarity and compassion shown by the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the overseas Vietnamese community. He affirmed that the donated resources would be distributed appropriately, transparently, and in accordance with legal regulations. He also called on all Vietnamese people, both at home and abroad, to continue upholding the nation’s long-standing tradition of mutual support and compassion to help those in flood-affected areas overcome their hardships.
Also on October 16, the VFFCC received an additional VND 2 billion in donations from five universities under the Ministry of Industry and Trade: Hanoi University of Industry, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, University of Economics - Technology for Industries, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry, and Electric Power University.
In addition, various agencies, organizations, and individuals made further contributions, including Bao Viet Group (VND 2 billion), Phenikaa Group (VND 1 billion), Mai Viet Real Estate JSC (VND 300 million), the Vietnamese Association in Ufa, Russia (VND 255 million), and ACAC Academy JSC (VND 30 million), among others.
