Binh Duong Hosts Tree Planting to Mark 75 Years of Vietnam-China Diplomatic Ties

This event marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025) and responded to World Environment Day on June 5. Delegates planted 70 trees in the grounds of Thu Dau Mot University.

According to the VNA, speaking at the ceremony, Acting Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City Tu Zhou stated that the 2025 Vietnam-China Friendship Tree Planting Ceremony was a meaningful activity and a profound symbol of the solidarity and close bonds between Binh Duong Province and the Chinese Consulate General. He emphasized that it also represents the cultivation and development of bilateral relations. The activity makes a significant contribution to preserving the natural environment, strengthening community ties, and building a healthier planet for future generations.

The Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to promote its role as a bridge, enhance humanistic exchanges and substantive cooperation between localities, contributing to bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province Bui Minh Thanh stated that the province has established friendly cooperative relations with 14 foreign localities, including three from China, including Guangzhou, Henan, and Anhui. Economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Binh Duong and China has seen continuous development. As of April 30, 2025, China ranked first among 65 countries and territories with investment projects in Binh Duong, with 1,844 projects totaling more than US$ 11.3 billion.
