Comrade's House Presented to the Family of Soldier in Difficult Circumstances

The Technical Assurance Center, Naval Region 2, in coordination with the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the “For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa” Club, together with local Party committees and authorities, organized a handover ceremony of a “Comrade's House” for a soldier in difficult circumstances on October 10 in Long Thoi Hamlet, Long Binh Commune, Dong Thap Province.

The house was handed over to the family of Warrant Officer Nguyen Chi Dinh, a professional soldier working at Station 96 under the Technical Assurance Center, Naval Region 2, Navy Command. Construction of the Comrade's House began in late July 2025 and was completed by late September 2025 after two months of building, ensuring quality and completion on schedule. The house is a one-story structure with a total area of 100 square meters, including a living room, bedroom, and kitchen, with a corrugated iron roof.

The total value of the project is nearly 570 million VND. Of this, 80 million VND was funded by the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the “For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa” Club, and the Lien Thai Binh Duong Import-Export Company Limited. The remaining amount was contributed by Dinh’s family and relatives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huu Luong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Technical Assurance Center, expressed his gratitude to the sponsors, especially former Vice President Truong My Hoa, and thanked the local authorities and sponsors for their timely support and companionship with the unit in implementing military and military family support policies. He emphasized that this is a meaningful gift and a great source of encouragement for the family of Warrant Officer Nguyen Chi Dinh.

The handover of the Comrade's House is a significant source of motivation for Dinh’s family, helping them stabilize their lives so he can continue to serve with peace of mind, contribute further, and fulfill his assigned duties, joining his unit in firmly safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of the nation’s sea, islands, and continental shelf.

On this occasion, the family also received meaningful gifts from the Naval Region 2 Command (worth 2 million VND), the Technical Assurance Center (worth 2 million VND), and additional gifts from the local Party committee and authorities.
