31 scholarships worth 32,000,000 VND per student per school year are awarded to students. Among them, 15 students are studying at the University of Foreign Languages - Hue University, each receives support for 4 years of study; 15 students from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Hue University, each supported for 6 years of study; and 1 student from Hue College of Culture and Arts, supported for 3 years of study.
These scholarships aim to support students in difficult circumstances in Hue City, helping them continue their studies at universities and colleges. This contributes to reducing the financial burden on families, encouraging academic diligence, and improving the quality of human resources in Hue City.
Children of Vietnam (COV) is an American non-governmental organization established in 1998, operating in Vietnam with the mission of helping poor and disadvantaged children escape poverty through comprehensive support services.
The organization focuses on programs including Health and Nutrition (improving health and providing adequate nutrition for children); Housing (helping children and families have a stable and safe place to live); Empowering Women and Children (enhancing capacity and opportunities for women and children); Hope Care System (supporting children with disabilities).
Through COV's four core programs, thousands of children in Vietnam have received care. These programs have contributed to transforming the lives of poor, homeless, or disadvantaged children, students, and pupils by improving their quality of life, equipping them with essential skills, and creating opportunities to change their future, helping them and their families break the cycle of poverty.
