Sharing about the initiative, Do Quang Ba, President of FAVIJA, stated that the free wheelchair donation program for disadvantaged persons with disabilities in Vietnam had been implemented throughout 2025, with the partnership of numerous agencies, organizations, and individuals in both Japan and Vietnam. The program aims to spread compassion and strengthen people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

At the presentation ceremony, the mother of Nguyen Minh Trung expressed her deep emotion, saying that with the wheelchair, she would no longer have to carry her child on her shoulders whenever taking him outside. The new wheelchair will make it easier for him to move around, giving him more opportunities to play and integrate with his peers.
The activity not only provides practical support to persons with disabilities in their daily lives, education, and community integration, but also further strengthens the friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Vietnam and Japan through meaningful acts of compassion.
