Friendship Associations of Vietnam and Thailand Donate Ultrasound Devices to Nghe An

Attending the ceremony were Oranus Watthayanon, Counselor of the Thai Embassy in Vietnam; Vuong Hong Thai, Standing Vice Chairman of the Nam Dan District People's Committee; Ta Quang Ngoc, former Chairman of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association; representatives of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association of Nghe An Province; and doctors from the Nam Dan District Medical Center.
In her speech, Oranus Watthayanon praised the meaningful activities of the two Friendship Associations, affirming that these efforts symbolize the strong Vietnam-Thailand friendship. She emphasized that this initiative contributes to promoting the already well-developed strategic partnership between the two countries. Notably, the two nations plan to upgrade their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2026, marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. She also mentioned that the Thai Embassy would continue to closely coordinate with the two Friendship Associations and Vietnamese localities.

Vuong Hong Thai, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan District, expressed gratitude to the two Friendship Associations for their practical support for local medical examination and treatment. He conveyed his hope that the Vietnam-Thailand relations would continue to grow stronger and develop well.
Nguyen Viet Loan, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association expressed his delight at seeing the ultrasound machine put to use at the Medical Center. He noted that this is one of many cooperative activities between the two Associations and hoped that the ultrasound machine would significantly improve the quality of medical examination and treatment in the locality.
Akarapon Sawetkamon, representing the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Thailand-Vietnam Business Council, expressed his joy at visiting President Ho Chi Minh's hometown. He remarked that the donation of the ultrasound machine is a joint effort to enhance public health care and expressed hope that medical cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow.
