Good Neighbor International Strengthens Vietnam's Friendship with South Korea
This is the second time the student exchange was hosted as part of the project "Exchange Towards Change." The program is sponsored by the Woomi Hope Foundation (South Korea) to improve educational conditions and enhance reading skills for students at Nam Son Primary and Secondary School (Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh Province).

The program was an opportunity for Korean students to understand more about the learning conditions of Vietnamese students. They also participated in cultural exchange activities and folk games such as tug of war, capturing the flag, and beating the drum while blindfolded. The games helped them become more friendly and blur the language gap.
“I am very happy to have more Vietnamese friends and to experience many games and watch special performances. I liked it so much that I wanted to come back again," said Korean student Cho Ji Young.

Within the framework of the project, GNI and the sponsor supported the renovation and setup support (furniture and book support) for the school library. They also renovated 2 classrooms and organized 2 student exchange trips with a total project budget of nearly VND 400 million (US $16,300).
GNI hopes that the program contributes to providing students with a better learning environment and improving the quality of teaching and learning at Nam Son Primary and Secondary School.
