Korean Samulnori Brings New Rhythms to Students
The Samulnori class, part of the “Overseas Gugak School” project for students of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, has officially begun.

| In the first session, students were introduced to basic rhythms and techniques for playing each of the four traditional Korean percussion instruments. The lively and energetic sounds of their first performances filled the classroom, offering students an opportunity to experience the unique appeal of Samulnori. Following the Korean fan dance class, the Samulnori programme is expected to provide another meaningful cultural experience and bring Gugak, traditional Korean music, closer to young Vietnamese audiences. |
