At the five-day festival, the Lam Dong delegation performed six vibrant performances showcasing the cultural identity of the Tay Nguyen region, including traditional music ensembles and gong performances, captivating the international audience.
The traditional Tay Nguyen instruments such as T'rung, Dinh Nam, Dinh Put, and khen bau vividly recreate the sounds of nature, from the wind to waterfalls, creating a vibrant musical space.
In particular, the Indian folk song 'Chali Chali Ga' was adapted and performed by Vietnamese artists using their traditional instruments, creating a delicate fusion of Vietnamese and Indian music.
According to Hoang Manh Tien, director of the Lam Dong Center for Culture and Arts, the performance not only introduced the quintessence of Tay Nguyen art but also served as a cultural bridge between the two countries, leaving a deep impression on the Indian audience.
